Expect another water outage. Rumor is that a 14' diameter water pipe like the one that burst earlier this year is due to rupture. Parts have been ordered and the administration is keeping its fingers crossed that it holds until all the parts have arrived. If your community gets water from the Quabbin, then I would bottle up some extra water to flush toilets and stuff until it's fixed.

We had a small one on Friday.
More of a traffic problem than anything else.
A 14' main break wouldn't be good at all.
